The lady from the series “Lost Girls” named Shannan Gilbert was born on 24th October in the year 1986 (age 24 years, as in 2010). Her mother Mari Gilbert was an activist but the name of her father and profession is not known. In childhood, she was a spoilt kid and was also quite naughty.
She got brought up by her parents with 3 siblings named Sarra Elizabeth Gilbert, Sherre Gilbert, and Stevie Smith. In her hometown, she got admitted to a local school where she completed her schooling.

As we know she was working as a sex worker and one night in the year 2010 she got a call from a person named Joseph Brewer. The man is a resident of the Oak Beach, Long Island. She had a guy named Michael Pak as her driver and bodyguard who used to go with her. To be precise it was May 1 in 2010 when Brewer hired her. Pak stayed in the car and Shannan went into the house.
After one or two hours later Pak too went into the house as Shannan started behaving differently as Joseph described. Shannan Gilbert called 911 but was not able to tell the location as it was completely unknown to her.
Michael (her driver) said that according to him Shannan Gilbert was on some drugs. After behaving like a lunatic for some time she ran away. Her driver tried to find her but got no clue.
She remained missing until her mother tried to re-open the case. When police were searching for her near Long Island they found remains of the human bodies on Gilgo Beach. From there Police found remains of at least 10 people and most of them were prostitutes.
The autopsy report remained unable to tell the reason behind her death and the mystery is still untold.
Career
After completing her high school studies she started working. Shannan Gilbert did jobs as a snack maker and did some front desk jobs. One day she met her friend who told her how much she can make by working as a sex worker. She got herself listed on Craigslist. The lady used to charge $200/hour and an average used to make $600 a day.
In the year 2009, she made her mind to quit this job and which is why she was doing her studies in communication. For her safety, she also had appointed a person who used to work as a bodyguard and driver for her and in return used to charge 1/4th part of earnings.
